what's a site worth?

We are constantly thinking about small business and income opportunities and recently found a website that specializes in selling websites. That raised a couple of questions for us.

First, would we ever sell ponderlicious.com?

And second, how much is ponderlicious.com worth?

To the first question, we don't like to think about selling out but honestly, if a fair price were offered, maybe we would. It's hard to say, but we'd like to think we wouldn't.

To the second question, we turned to stimator.com, a beta site that can supposedly estimate the value of any website.

We are not sure how accurate the stimator is. We have tried it a few times and each time, it seems to give a different number. Nevertheless, when we checked it out this month, it estimated the value of ponderlicious.com at $1,056.

Again, we not sure if this is a valid appraisal, but it is curious to wonder about the value of things. For instance, stimator reports that Google's site is worth nearly 361 million dollars. Fair? Who knows. Fun to think about? Yes.
